ABOUT OUR POLICY
TEXT MESSAGING & VOICE MESSAGE ALERTS
Per this Policy, Jubilee Furniture or any third-party affiliate may connect with customers via voice call or text messaging (also known as Short Message Service [SMS] or Multimedia Message Service [MMS], and hereafter known as “Service”) to perform tasks that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Verify information regarding purchases, updates, cancellations, or modifications to a new or existing order
- Confirm third-party carrier shipments and Room to Choice personnel activity
- Arrange and confirm third-party repair companies or contractors for repairs or installations of existing or replacement furniture pieces
Initial enrollment in these alerts will require customers to provide their telephone numbers via Jubilee Furniture’s website, or directly with a Jubilee Furniture representative, prior to or during a transaction. Customers whose phone numbers contain area codes that have been issued within the 50 United States (or the District of Columbia) will be eligible for this Service. Customers acknowledge that upon providing their phone numbers to Jubilee Furniture, they agree to Jubilee Furniture’s Terms and Conditions and the policies set forth within this Agreement. Jubilee Furniture will not share your information with any source that is not affiliated with Jubilee Furniture or its relative third-party companies, contractors, or carriers hired to perform essential tasks or services as requested or needed by Jubilee Furniture for any former, current, or prospective customer. In further accordance with this Agreement, customers are NOT to disseminate, in written format, any information provided to them by a Jubilee Furniture representative on any sensitive or specific details relating to order inquiries, concerns, or issues—as well as details before, during, and after the claim submission and resolution process—that include, but are not limited to, emails, texts, or recorded messages (voicemails); facsimile transmissions; social media posts; or other direct company–customer correspondence transmitted through cellular, electronic, or print form.
- Technical errors such as delayed or undelivered alerts due to a customer’s affected wireless coverage
- A customer’s intentional or unintentional transfer of sensitive information to an external source (i.e., anyone other than the customer)
- Delayed shipments, halted repair services, or potential restocking fees due to non-responsive customers who have enrolled in and consented to essential updates or notifications solely through this Service
This Service may not be available to areas with limited cellular coverage or during outages, updates, or interference from your wireless provider.
Dispute Resolution: In that event that disputes between you and Jubilee Furniture arise out of or in connection with this Policy, you agree to resolve them through binding arbitration. You acknowledge that, in the interest of both parties, any claims or concerns—regardless of origin—based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory will be settled through binding arbitration (or small claims court), which will automatically waive your right to resolution by use of a jury or other court proceedings, and will eliminate your participation in any class actions.
